About Rio
The Rio Club opened in October 2021 on land we’d owned for 15 years—a long-anticipated addition that was worth the wait. Located in Enchanted Hills of Rio Rancho, the club serves our broader service area across Lomas Encantadas, Bernalillo, Santa Ana Pueblo, and Placitas. Built with our latest design updates, it features member-requested touches like a hot tub, our brand statement wall graphic, and sweeping views of the Sandias. It was also the first club to showcase our updated logo on a stikwood wall featuring the club name. Today, the Rio Club is known for a strong culture and a proud, welcoming community.

Samantha Nevarez
Samantha Nevarez was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and moved to Rio Rancho in 2021 to pursue her passion for a career in fitness. Since then, she has become a driving force behind the positivity, leadership, and sense of dignity that define the culture at the Defined Fitness Rio Club. Samantha is deeply committed to helping others succeed, and she takes pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for both members and teammates. Outside the gym, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling to new places, and staying active through her own workouts.

This fitness club is amazing, definitely the best in the state hands down! So upscale with great pricing! Pool, daycare, Hydro Massage room, and all classes included in your membership! And the views of the Sandia Mountains from the cardio deck are breathtaking!
Defined has it all! There’s an outdoor CrossFit space with extra equipment, a ton of cardio machines (lined up against windows for viewing pleasure), hydro massage room, spin room, a sauna, and a pool. The price is so affordable I really can’t believe I’m getting all of this -plus access to any other location. Hands down, best gym I’ve seen out here.
Defined Fitness is by far the best gym I have ever experienced… It’s clean, awesome equipment, friendly people. The bonuses – great swimming pool, hot Tub, sauna, and heated massage chairs. I definitely feel at home here!
